COPPA Notice for Parents
A plain-language summary of how we handle information about your child. The full legal terms are in our Privacy Policy.
The short version
- Only you, the parent, have an account. Your child does not sign in, does not have a password, and does not have an email account with us.
- The only information we have about your child is what you type into the Agent profile: first name, optional codename, age, interests, and the missions/commendations you log.
- We never sell information, never show ads, and never use your child’s information for behavioral advertising.
- You can review, export, or delete your family’s data at any time from Headquarters → Personnel.
What we collect about your child
When you create an Agent profile, you enter your child’s first name, an optional codename, their age, and their interests. As you use the app, we also store the missions you assign, which ones your child completes, commendations you write, character traits you check off, and badges earned. We store a private internal ID that links this activity to the profile you created.
What we do NOT collect from your child
We do not collect from your child: geolocation, precise location, photos, video, audio recordings, contact information, or any identifier used for cross-site tracking or targeted advertising. Your child does not interact with the app directly through a login of their own.
Why we collect it
We use this information only to generate the mission briefings, track your child’s progress inside your account, and give you a useful parent dashboard. That’s it.
Who we share it with
We share only with the service providers we need to run the app:
- Lovable Cloud — hosts the database and handles your login.
- Lovable AI Gateway — writes the mission briefing text. We send it the codename, age, interests, and mission details you provided; we do not send your child’s legal name.
- Stripe — processes payment if you subscribe to Premium. Stripe never receives your child’s information.
Your rights as a parent
You can:
- Review everything we have about your child from Headquarters → Personnel, or by requesting an export.
- Export your family’s data as a JSON file from Headquarters → Personnel.
- Delete an individual Agent, or your entire account, at any time. Deletion removes the profile and all associated mission history from the live service.
- Refuse further collection by deleting the Agent profile or your account.
How long we keep it
As long as your account is active. If your account has no sign-in activity for 12 months in a row, we will delete the Agent profiles and mission history associated with it.
How you gave consent
When you created your account and added each Agent, you confirmed you are the child’s parent or legal guardian and consented to our collection of that limited information for the purposes above. We record the date of consent on each Agent profile.
