Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Little Dutch Designer LLC (“Little Dutch Designer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when a parent or legal guardian uses the Operation: Becoming service (the “Service”). Because Operation: Becoming is used by parents on behalf of their children, this policy is written to comply with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). 1. Who we are

Operation: Becoming is a software product owned and operated by Little Dutch Designer LLC, a U.S. limited liability company. Little Dutch Designer LLC is the operator responsible for this Service under COPPA. Contact: littledutchdesigner@gmail.com.

2. Who uses the Service

Only parents and legal guardians (age 18+) create accounts. Children do not sign up, do not log in, do not have passwords, and do not have email accounts on the Service. All child information in the Service is entered by the parent account holder.

3. Information we collect from parents

  • Account information: email address and authentication identifiers.
  • Optional profile information: display name.
  • Billing information for Premium subscribers, processed by Stripe (we do not store card numbers).
  • Basic diagnostic and usage data needed to operate the Service (e.g., error logs).

4. Information we collect about children

The parent enters the following information about each child (“Agent”) profile they create:
  • First name, agent codename (optional), age, and interests.
  • Mission activity generated inside the parent’s account: which missions were assigned, completed, or skipped; commendations the parent writes; character-trait practice logged by the parent; badges earned.
  • A persistent internal identifier tying that activity to the child profile within the parent’s account.

We do not knowingly collect from children: geolocation, precise location, photographs, video, audio recordings, contact information, persistent identifiers used for behavioral advertising, or information collected through passive tracking of the child across other sites or services.

5. How we use information

We use the information above to: (a) provide and personalize the Operation: Becoming experience, including generating mission briefings for the child profiles a parent has created; (b) maintain the parent’s account and subscription; (c) respond to parent requests and support inquiries; (d) protect the security and integrity of the Service; and (e) improve the Service. We do not use children’s information for behavioral advertising, for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects, or for any purpose beyond operating the Service.

6. Parental consent

Before we collect any information about a child, the parent must create an account, confirm they are the child’s parent or legal guardian, and check the parental consent statement in the “Recruit Agent” form. We treat account creation by an adult, combined with that in-app affirmation and (for paid accounts) a credit card on file, as verifiable parental consent under COPPA’s “email plus” and payment-verification methods for internal-use data. We record the date of consent on the child’s profile.

7. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not disclose children’s information to third parties except to the service providers listed below, who process information on our behalf under confidentiality and data-protection obligations and only to operate the Service:
  • Lovable Cloud — hosting, database, and authentication infrastructure for the Service.
  • Lovable AI Gateway — generates the text of mission briefings from the mission details the parent provides. AI prompts include the child’s codename, age, interests, and the mission’s title/objective; they do not include the child’s legal name, email, or contact information.
  • Stripe, Inc. — processes Premium subscription payments. Stripe receives billing information from the parent, not from the child.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights or safety of users, or in connection with a corporate transaction, subject to a successor entity honoring this policy.

8. Data retention and deletion

We retain child profile information for as long as the parent’s account is active. If a parent account has no sign-in activity for 12 consecutive months, we will delete the associated child profiles and their mission activity. A parent may at any time delete an individual Agent profile from the Headquarters → Personnel screen, or delete the entire account from the Contact page, which removes all associated child information from the live Service.

9. Parent rights (COPPA)

A parent has the right to: (a) review the personal information we have collected from or about their child; (b) refuse to permit further collection or use of that information; and (c) direct us to delete that information. Parents can review and export their family’s data using the “Export family data” button in Headquarters → Personnel, delete individual Agents from the same screen, or email us at littledutchdesigner@gmail.com to request access, correction, or deletion. We will honor verified requests promptly.

10. Security

We protect information with industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), authentication, and row-level database access controls that restrict each parent’s data to that parent. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users promptly if we learn of a security incident affecting their information.

11. No behavioral advertising

Operation: Becoming does not display third-party advertising, does not use children’s information for targeted advertising, and does not permit third-party ad networks to collect information from the Service.

12. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes that expand how we collect, use, or share children’s information, we will obtain fresh parental consent before those changes take effect for existing accounts. Other changes will be posted here with an updated “Last updated” date.
